Why is the Russian language simple?
Having talked about the complexities of the Russian language, it is impossible not to talk about why this language is easy to learn and why the Russian language is worth learning and being able to speak it1. Logic!
The system of prefixes and roots greatly helps to guess the meaning of new words. Sometimes, it's just a life-saver.
Hasten - Ускорять (У + скоро) -
Be chuffed - Обрадоваться (Об + рад)
Insist - Уверять (У + Вера)
Lean on - Прислоняться (при + слон)
And, although this does not always work, it very often helps to understand.
2. Time system simplified.
Three times, only!
How in English?:
"I play, I am playing, I have been playing, I have played"
And in Russian?:
"я играю"
Any student will be happy about this.
3. Spelling.
It's just a thrill and tender love! Everything is written almost identically to how it is pronounced.
4. No articles.
True, we have some rules so that you know exactly what table or TV we are talking about. But usually it’s clear without them.
5. Morphology of consonants.
Don't recognize the word? Is there a “Ч” there? Change it to “K”
For example,
Бычий - бык
Bottom line.
Russian is not the most difficult language to learn. There are more complicated ones. For example, Asian
At the very beginning of learning Russian there are many difficulties. But then everything falls into place. And it's worth starting to study!
Shall we begin?
